Abandoned for Wedding Planning

Sorry I have been MIA, but I have tons to post from our wedding planning! I will be updating this blog with TONS of projects, as our wedding was ALL DIY, except for the food! Here is a small sneak peek of it, though!
The reception DIY pictured above: bouquets, centerpieces, table numbers, pennant banners and string ball chandeliers, thank you card in napkin with Madlibs on back
Ceremony DIY: Chandelier, Pergola area (used to be a pool), kissing balls
Stay tuned for more!

My Sister's Birthday Gifts

For my sister's birthday, I wanted to make her a camera strap because she loves her camera! So I found a blog with instructions that I liked on Pinterest.com and I made her one! Then, with the leftover material, a frame I had laying around, and my new Cricut, I decided to make her a personalized framed sign! I am so in love with how both of these turned out! Both can be found on my Etsy Shop!

Another Baby Shower Gift!

I am going to a shower tomorrow, so I decided to make a hanger and give a gift card for the store they are registered at. As an afterthought, I decided to make a little headband for the baby. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out, short of a few spots I had to re-sew due to a bent needle on the machine (whoops!).
I hope they like them!

Holiday Gifts: Card Holders, Finished Product

I have made a Winter/Chanukah version of the card holders, along with red flowers, as well as green for the Chrsitmas card holder! I love how these turned out! The buttons are magnets, so you can easily hang your cards without damaging them!

Holiday Gifts: Wreaths: The Final Product

I made 2 different color schemes, as part of my family is Jewish, while the other part is Catholic. I am fairly pleased with how they turned out! But I'll let you be the judge of that!

Card Holders

There was a slight change in plan from the last post! I was originally going to put the felt dahlia flowers on wreaths, however, I love the card holder craft and thought it would be a great gift! So, the dahlias go on the card holders! I will also make some in blue and silver for people who don't celebrate Christmas! I will post photos when that one is complete.

Felt Flowers For Any Occasion!

I am making gifts this year for the holidays and I wanted to do something a little different than I have been with the wire! I stumbled upon some wreaths that I adore on pinterest.com made with flowers made of felt and grape vine wreaths! The first flowers that I made, I was already familiar with, as I made  similar flowers out pf paper for corsages over the summer.

But the second ones, I was super excited to learn to do as they are meant to resemble one of my favorite flowers, the dahlia! You can make them too! Just use this great tutorial! I will post the finished wreaths, once they are complete, but I am so excited to show off my dahlias! They are each different because I improve with each one, but I love them each for different reasons! So, without further ado, here they are!

Promotional Flyer

I asked my boyfriend to design a flyer so that I can promote everything I make. Now I can leave one at work and add these to my completed orders to promote future sales! I love them! He is so clever!

This hanger order is what I owe my shop to! If it weren't for this woman, I would NEVER have even thought to sell my hangers, let alone ornaments!!!! I mailed it today! I hope she likes it! She requested it at my boyfriend's sister's baby shower (did you follow that?). From there, I discussed with him and his sister how much I should sell them for and it went from there!!!! Thank you to all of my customers, but especially to her!

My ornaments have really taken off! I have so many ordered! I can't wait to make them all! Here are some of my faves!

Personalized Photo Ornaments

My newest crafty product was a request from a customer! A photographer loved my ornaments, but wanted to incorporate photographs into them so that she could sell them to her clients and this is what I came up with, using one of her photographs! I am very proud of this one!

Holiday Addition....Ornaments!

Mini Hanger or swirls! You pick! I made the swirls one for a group of my girl friends.  It is a first attempt, but with practice, they will improve! I am quite pleased with my first attempt at a mini hanger!

Happy Halloween!

I made this mummy for my son to wake up to today and set this up at his seat for breakfast! He was so surprised! Thank you pinterest.com!  They have the best ideas on there! I used the wire from my hangers and shaped the body, then ripped up an old t-shirt and wrapped the wire!  It was easy and fun and my son has a new bendy mummy to play with!

Baby Rosette Headband

My newest project is a baby headband with a rosette. I made this for my boyfriend's sister who is pregnant right now. It turned out really well! I didn't even use a sewing machine! It turned out better than I had anticipated. I hope she likes it!
